Shipping Policy


$1 shipping applies to small products(eg. 3.5g glue stick) that will fit in a standard envelope, tracking is available for an extra $0.8

$7.5 shipping applies to combined products with a total gross weight less than 500g which fits in a standard A4 Australia Post Red Satchel (2+ days). Shipping times may vary depending on location. $10.78 for Express delivery. Express Shipping times may vary depending on courier pick up times (generally 1-2 days).

A2 satchel max 5kg $16.72 Expres $23.56

5kgs+ (max 25kg) to all major cities on the East coast of Australia.

Packing fees may apply to cover costs of boxes and other packing materials.

For livestock purchase's, shipping will be minimum $20 for overnight shipping, for larger quantities please contact for an accurate quote. Airport to Airport services are also available. Heat pack are recommended for winter and cold packs for summer. Both are available to purchase through the store to, just add to cart and we'll do the rest :) Please be aware that we currently do not provide any DOA claims for any live goods.

Note: Packaging will add to to the weight of shipping, eg 1L Seachem Prime 1kg + 200g packaging = 1.2kg, 500g Aqua Forest Alkalinity contains 500g of Alkalinity powder, container + 100g + packaging 300g = 900g. Please contact us for an accurate shipping cost

Instore Fish DOA Policy

Fish purchased in store come with 24 hour dead on arrival policy. Although we do our best to provide you with the best quality fish, unfortunately some fish do not make the transition due to many factors. 

Procedures to claim DOA

  1. Fish must be drip acclimated to new tank

  2. Body of the fish and a water sample must be brought back to the store for inspection. Water conditions must at acceptable levels for the fish purchased

  3. A fish of equal value will be replaced to you at no cost. If a suitable replacement is not in stock we will issue you a credit to use in future

  4. We can not replace any existing fish you may have in your tank as a result.

  5. Discretion will be used by the acting manager and we reserve the right to deny the DOA

Returns & Warranty

All sales are final and no refunds will be given if change your mind. In the event that a customer has purchased an incorrect product for their use, it will be decided by the acting manager/staff member whether exchange or partial/full store credit will be applied. Products must be returned within 7 days with original proof of purchase/receipt, any accompanying documents, packaging and in an unused condition. It is up to the discretion of the manager/staff whether refund/exchange/store credit will be applied or not.

For all warranty issues, a proof of purchase must be supplied with the item. Most items carry manufacturers warranties and will be sent back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, this will be up to the discretion of mangers/staff whether the item is a manufacturers fault to be sent away or due to negligence of the purchaser. Repair/replacement will be decided by the manufacturer/supplier.
